Seattle start-up seeks a part-time copy editor with strong writing skills, impeccable grammar and technology marketing related copy writing/copy editing experience. The candidate must be passionate about accuracy and the telling of compelling stories through copy.
Job description:
* As-needed proofreading of new and updated content
* Establish a clear, consistent voice for all content
* Make constructive suggestions to content flow and help craft compelling messages
* Deliver quality work in a timely manner
* Work closely with sales, marketing and management teams for copy review process
Job requirements:
* College degree in English
* Prior experience doing copy writing and copy editing for a technology firm
* Very familiar with AP style and an excellent copy editor, fact checker
* Be a team player and self-motivated
